Previously on Tower of Death, Kasumi from the Dead or Alive video game franchise enters a mysterious tower that is filled with human and supernatural warriors. After passing the point of no return by entering the fifth floor's Gate to Death, she engages in battle with two beautiful killers, five animalistic warriors, and a worthy opponent formed from stone. As she continues up the Tower of Death, the stakes get higher and higher in this story inspired by the original concept for Bruce Lee's Game of Death.

The eleventh floor: the Wooden Guardian
The Wooden Guardian

After defeating the powerful Stone Guardian, Kasumi now heads to the eleventh floor. She comes across what looks like natural wood formations, when suddenly a warrior is formed from the wood (who would be played by WWE wrestler Bayley). The Wooden Guardian beckons Kasumi to challenge her, and another battle ensues. Both warriors fight well, until Kasumi defeats the Wooden Guardian by literally breaking her in half. The Wooden Guardian writhes in pain (though not bleeding at all), and then turns into rotting wood. After witnessing the transformation, Kasumi shakes it off before heading to the next twelfth floor.

The twelfth floor: the Water, Fire, and Earth Guardians
The Fire Guardian; the leader of the trio guarding the twelfth floor.
The Water Guardian
The Earth Guardian

The twelfth floor houses a water fountain, a fire, and a bed of dirt. At first, nothing seems unusual, until three warriors emerge from these objects: a Water Guardian (played by Naomi), a Fire Guardian (played by Sasha Banks), and an Earth Guardian (played by Ember Moon). The Fire Guardian, who is the leader of the trio, taunts Kasumi by proclaiming that the kunoichi cannot hope to get past them. Kasumi only replies with a smile before combat begins. Utilizing the forms of Wing Chun, the three individually battle Kasumi. All three guardians fight well, but are eventually defeated: the Water Guardian turns into a puddle of water, the Fire Guardian turns into a charred corpse, and the Earth Guardian turns into a pile of dirt and rocks. After the battle with the elemental trio, Kasumi then proceeds to the thirteenth floor.

The thirteenth floor: the Ice Guardian
The Ice Guardian

In the thirteenth floor, there is a large bed of ice and two standing candles (with each near a corner). A warrior emerges out of the ice: the Ice Guardian (who would be played by Natalya). At first, the Ice Guardian seems to best Kasumi, and it seemed that Kasumi would lose until she uncovers a weakspot. Kasumi wrestles with the Ice Guardian, drawing her to one of the candles in the corner. The Ice Guardian eventually pushes Kasumi away, and begins to look as if she is sweating profusely (she is actually losing water, since she is actually made of ice). As she starts to sweat water, she starts to weaken. After being beaten to the point of complete exhaustion, the Ice Guardian slowly melts into a puddle of water (a fate similar to that of the Water Guardian). Kasumi then proceeds to the next floor, wondering what she will face next.

The fourteenth floor: the Glass Guardian

The fifteenth floor: the Crystal Guardian

In the fourteenth floor, there is a large wall of glass with a glass throne. Sitting on the throne is Kasumi's next opponent called the Glass Guardian (who would be played by Maryse). She congratulates and then mocks Kasumi, claiming that she will stain the glass with Kasumi's blood. Utilizing the snake and crane forms of Kung Fu, the Glass Guardian and Kasumi have a daring battle. Kasumi eventually bests the Glass Guardian and the Glass Guardian starts to turn into glass, horrified by her defeat. As she falls to the floor, she then shatters into pieces at the moment of impact. Kasumi then heads to the fifteenth floor with a similar setting as the previous, but this time with crystals. The Crystal Guardian (who would be played by Alexa Bliss) sits on the throne enjoying some grapes. The arrogant resident of the fifteenth floor taunts Kasumi, and then says “You really want to just die here? (chuckles) So be it then.” The Crystal Guardian manages to overpower Kasumi, reversing most of her moves. Then, at the spur of the moment, Kasumi grabs her by the arms and then catapults away from the guardian, ripping the guardian's arms off in the process. Horrified by this, the Crystal Guardian staggers and then starts to crystallize after falling to the floor on her back. Her body then looks like someone who was frozen solid (except she is actually turned into a crystalline version of herself). The crystallized guardian then starts to break, fissure, and crack. Kasumi, remembering the fate of the Stone Guardian, quickly proceeds to the next floor in case the corpse of the Crystal Guardian explodes.

The sixteenth floor: the Steel Guardian
The Steel Guardian

The sixteenth floor contains a large tub of what looks like molten steel along with a large block of steel beside it. Suddenly, a figure emerges from the molten steel and slowly transforms into a human form (who would be played by Dana Brooke). The Steel Guardian slowly walks up to Kasumi in a Terminator-style fashion and then utters four words to the kunoichi: “I will break you.”
