If you have been following me, you should be aware of an announcement of Scorum-Fans/SBC League. If you already joined the league, you can find your name here in google excel sheets.
By now, we have 22 managers who joined the league. Out of 22 managers, I recognize 11 of who as you commented your team name in the announcement post or messaged me your team name. Other managers who I don't recognize will be removed after the start of the FPL before game week 1. So, if you already joined the league, but you didn't let me know, please got to the announcement post here and comment your team name. And please don't try to cheat with the rules. A Scorum user can have one FPL team. There was a guy "yashar ghahremani" who made 4 teams and entered into the league if I am not wrong. If you are 4 different people, you need to verify it. I wish there was a reputation in Scorum so that I could track multiple accounts with time.
Coming back to main topics, I have 11 legit fantasy managers by now playing in Scorum-Fans/SBC League. As I saw from Scorum Fantasy Draft, many of us are not into fantasy football and we used to have around 150 teams from over 5000 users. So, getting 22 entry(11 legit by now) can be counted as a success. Although I announced the league, but I never introduced what Fantasy Premier League really is. Here we go, an introductory post to the Fantasy Premier League.
Fantasy Premier League
Fantasy Premier League or FPL is the best way to make yourself feel like you are the manager of English Premier League Club. Five million managers around the world not only watch their favorite teams play but also manages a Fantasy team and cheer for the players they have in their team. Being a fantasy manager, you can participate in different global leagues and win a prize for it. You can also participate in a league with your friends. And trust me, it feels so good to talk about each others team in fantasy football. That is what I want to do in the Scorum. I already made many new friends who already like football, and I want all of us to come together and discuss Fantasy premier league and make Scorum alive. I also highly encourage to join Scorum draft along with fpl after it is launched.

Team Selection:
Get ready for your team selection. You need to have 15 players on your team: 2 goalkeepers, 5 defenders, 5 midfielders and 3 forwards. You can only have 3 players from a single national team.
Formation:
For each round, your team will have 11 players to start with 1 goalkeeper, 4 bench player(including 1 GK), and a captain whose points will be doubled.
Following are the valid formation for playing 11.
Defender-midfielder-forward:
5-3-2
5-2-3
5-4-1
4-4-2
4-3-3
4-5-1
3-5-2
3-4-3
Breakdown by position
Budget
You will start with an initial budget of €100 million and need to buy 15 players for your team with it. Every week, the player's price increases or decreases based on the number of transfer made by the managers. If the player whose price changed is in your team, your team value will increase or decrease. So, besides accumulating points, the other key to fantasy football is to maintain the value of your team. Don't keep an out-of-form player for too long, as your team value will rapidly go down.
Player Pricing
The players are priced based on their position, and their expected performance. The player price will change every week based on the number of net transfers by the managers. A player's price can't change more than 0.3M in a single game week.
Substitution
At the end of the game week, the automatic substitution will take place. A nonplaying player in your playing 11 will be substituted with a player from the bench provided that you should at least have 1 goalkeeper, 3 defenders and 1 forward are selected at all times, while captain with vice-captain.
Chips:
There are 3 different chips namely Bench Boost, Triple Captain, and Free Hit chip. (Wildcard is also called as chips but I am mentioning it in different sections)
- Bench Boost: You get the points for all 15 players, not just your starting XI
- Triple Captain: The score of your captain will be three times.
- Free Hit: You can make an unlimited transfer for that GW. Your team will be reversed after the GW.
Transfer/ Wildcards
Each game week, you have 1 free transfer available. You will be deducted 4 points for each additional transfer than below. You have 2 wildcards available. During the wildcards, you can have unlimited free transfers throughout a Gameweek. The first wildcard must be played in first half of the season before 29 Dec 14:00 and other in second half of the season.

Prizes
The winner of FPL gets 7-night VIP UK trip and attend 2 PL matches a 2019/20 and other many prizes. The runner-up and FPL Cup Winner gets to attend 1 PL matches in the UK and other many prizes. There is also monthly and weekly prizes available. You can find the list of whole prizes here.

Prizes in Scorum-fans/SBC Fantasy League
After the Scorum Advertising platform is released, every week I will make a post where I will publish the results of previous GW and provide some insights may be for a coming week. 50% of SCR earn will go to weekly winners, while 50% will be saved and be distributed among overall winners.
The number of winners to be awarded weekly and for overall standing will be determined based on the number of participants in the league. So, stay tuned till the start of the season. I will be updating the progress to you.

Actually, nobody made got the correct score as the match ended 4-2. @thebull was the closest to his prediction and he predicted 3-1, he was short of 1 goals each for both team and had the correct goal difference. So, I decided to award him half of the total prize to be fair with all the participants. He will be getting 5 SCR while 5 SCR will go to next contest which I will announce in near future.
