Fc Barcelona and Ousmane Dembélé's contract negotiations have gone awry - now PSG are signing on the field.

In 2017, a young Ousmane Dembélé flew from Dortmund to Barcelona with a price tag of around one billion kroner. The Frenchman's time in Catalonia has been a tumultuous affair, and there are indications that the complicated relationship between Barcelona and Dembélé is coming to an end - even with a farewell to a free transfer.

The young Frenchman's contract with FC Barcelona is coming to an end this summer, and in the January transfer window he can therefore make a pre-agreement with another club, and thus change transfer-free from Barcelona this summer.

On Monday, FC Barcelona's football director Mateu Alemany said that Ousmane Dembélé has long had a contract offer that only needs a signature, but the club will soon no longer wait for the winger's decision.

The complications between Barcelona and Dembélé are due to finances, and Barcelona's management has previously stated that they are seeking a pay cut from the French star in order for them to afford to include newly acquired Ferran Torres in the squad.

According to the Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, Paris Saint-Germain is therefore more than ready to sign a contract with Dembélé.

- The Parisian club is very keen to bring in the player, who is considered to be a strong addition to the squad, due to his talent, young age and the fact that he is French. The sports management, led by Leonardo, believes that Dembélé can fit perfectly with the club's sports project, writes Spanish Mundo Deportivo according to Tipsbladet.

If the approach of Ousmane Dembélé at PSG becomes a reality, the Frenchman will become part of a star line-up of players such as Neymar, Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe.

However, the latter is expected to swap the French capital with the Spanish one, as Real Madrid seems like an obvious summer destination for the French superstar.
