Luka Modrić's contract expires this summer, but now the 35-year-old Croatian has had his contract extended, according to the renowned Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano. Despite his advanced age, the experienced midfielder is still a regular on the team card of coach Zinedine Zidane, and that collaboration is now being extended.

In 2012, Luka Modrić replaced the Premier League and Tottenham with La Liga and Real Madrid, in which the Croatian has had great success, and was also crowned with the award as "The Best" by FIFA, best player in Europe by UEFA and the Ballon d'Or in 2018 after he had led Croatia all the way to the silver medals during the World Cup finals.

The midfielder has played 368 games for Real Madrid, and if his contract is extended, he can also celebrate his 10th anniversary at "Los Blancos". Luka Modrić has won two Spanish championships and four Champions League titles during his time in Spain.
