Valencia have had a tumultuous first half of the season, which is why the Spanish club have ended up in the middle of a deadly relegation battle. In particular, the lack of breadth of the squad has been criticized, and it now makes the management act shortly before the transfer window slams on Monday night.

According to Marca and the local media Super Deporte striker Patrick Cutrone and defender Francisco Reis Ferreira (known as Ferro) are coming in on loan for the rest of the season. The two players have arrived at the airport in Valencia according to the Spanish media and are for a medical check-up on Sunday night.

23-year-old Patrick Cutrone joins the club from Wolverhampton and will be an extra weapon in the attack at "Los Che". The Italian has long since been written off all future in Wolves. At the start of this season he was therefore loaned out to Fiorentina, and here the striker managed to play 11 games - but without scoring a single goal. Therefore, the loan ceased in early January, but Patrick Cutrone is quickly sent on away from the Premier League club.

"Ferro" was already before the start of the season rumored to Valencia from the Portuguese club Benfica. But the two clubs on the Iberian Peninsula could not agree on a deal, and therefore the 23-year-old defender joined the "Eagles" in Lisbon, where "Ferro" has only had minimal playing time in seven games this season.

In addition to Patrick Cutrone and "Ferro", the Italian back Cristiano Piccini has also returned to Valencia after a short loan at Atalanta in the autumn.
