Manchester United's win over Chelsea today is no news. If one should go into history, it was the advent of the 'special one' that brought about a change in the fortunes of the Stanford bridge(ers) not too long ago (and of course, shame and damnation when no one was no longer special).

What is news however, is that, two former club super stars, now turned managers of their former clubs have faced each other once again. The face off is of course not on the field, but off it. It is not about being captain or a midfielder nor a striker and so on and so forth. But it is about the drawing board of technical prowess rather than physical stamina, and of tactical maneuvers instead of actual dominance.

So far, the match which was done and over with, was not without its drama. This brings me to the second piece of new news about the match. The blues coach got beaten red and blue. Four times red blue goals without any form of reply. At least a single reply may be a form of compensation for the entire and one of the best mid fielders of the EPL in recent times.

Less i forget, the third piece of new news is that our newest coach got to make bold history, he became the second manager after a certain Grant of not too long ago. Yes, he became the second manager to loose an all important first match. He didn't even drew the match, he lost it fair and square to a contemporary.

Starting a first time match with the wrong footing of this magnitude is bad, a bad omen hangs over the bridge at the moment i think. For an upstart who wants to make a career out of coaching, he has got a major dent that will take a great deal of panel beating by seasoned professionals to bring it back into shape.

The last but not the final piece of new news is, Kudos to Solskjaer for making another history after about 7 decades. Starting this EPL season with 4 good scorching Red Devilish goals, is worth celebrating i am sure, even for the old Traford fans and management.

Is this a good start with the right footing for the Devilish coach? Is this win heralding the advent of good omen for more Red goals to come? Well, as usual, only time will do the telling.

But it is not uhuru yet for Chelsea's Violator of today, remember, that was how the old Soldier (opps... Solksjaer) started immediately he assumed the helm of affairs when the 'special one' got booted out last season. Things were going very good, goals were coming left, right and center, only for them to stop coming. Eventually, the reds couldn't meet up with the barest minimum of attaining the report card, hence the school principal could not upgrade mighty Man U to appear in the ECL.

How this miserable start is to be redeemed by Lampard remains to be seen. How the Blues intend to get back up from loosing a match in a way typical of Handball scores, is what we await to see happening with ardent enthusiasm while seating at the edges of our seats.

I am just having a moments fun.
