Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has returned a positive test for Covid-19. He is currently isolating ahead of City FA cup tie against League two Swindon town in which assistant manager Rodolfo Borrell will take charge of the cup tie.

City has not complained of any issues regarding Covid-19 interfering with their games. But they have quite a number of players and staffs isolating after showing positive cases.

Quite a number of Top flight games have been postponed because of the Omicron variant.
