Tonight marks the return of football's most prestigious tournament, the Uefa Champions League.

Due to the covid-19 outbreak, the second legs of the Uefa Champions League of some teams were postponed and set to resume today.

Manchester City vs Real Madrid and Juventus vs Olimpique Lyon are the first teams to resume the competition tonight and in this article, I will be reviewing the encounter between England's giant Manchester City and Spanish giant Real Madrid from the perspective of a Real Madrid fan.

In a season-defining encounter, Real Madrid travel to England to face a Manchester City team that beat them 2-1 back in February on their turf.

As it stands, Real Madrid need 2 goals to scale through and against a Manchester City team that has always been tough to play against, that seems like an uphill task.

However, it would be ignorant to downplay the talent filled in the Real Madrid dressing room and their stand in the history of the competition, and also, the man leading them into this encounter, a legend of the competition both as player and coach.

I am expecting a tough encounter, yea, but having reviewed the first leg, considering the form of Real Madrid since football resumed and the talent in the squad, turning things around tonight is not impossible.

Real Madrid will definitely have chances tonight and they would need to be well disciplined and focus for the entire ninety minutes and not forgetting being clinical in front of goal. Only then can they eliminate a Manchester City team that is very dangerous in the opponent's half.

Kevin De Bruyne, Sterling and Bernado Silva are all going to cause problems for the whites tonight but expect the current sturdiness and fitness of the Real Madrid boys to triumph.

As a Real Madrid fan, I am expecting a win or draw for Real Madrid tonight but I hope they put up their best performance of the season and eliminate City.

Thanks for Reading...
