One of the names if not the only name stuck on the lips of the Madrid faithful recently, day in day out for the right reasons is none other than that of the Brazilian youngster Vinicius Junior. The youngster has in less than a year, solidify his place has one of the most imports players in the team.

During his days at Brazilian club Flamengo, it was reported both Real Madrid and Barcelona monitored the progress of the youngster and the former ended up getting him for an unsurprisingly €45 million for his talent. Real Madrid wouldn't have hit that buy-out clause simply because they were trying to avoid another "Neymar happening", but they fought to acquire the services of the Brazilian because they see a future superstar in him. Strong, fast, flamboyant, daring, the winger has all it takes to take the world by storm in coming years.

Not until Ronaldo left did Real Madrid began to remember the left wing would be needing someone to fill it as Ronaldo has been the sole owner/operator of that wing for almost a decade. The departure of the Portuguese raised eyebrows as to who will replace him and operate from the leftwing. The first name that comes to mind is Gareth Bale and then probably Marco Asensio. Vinicius as at the beginning of his arrival at the Spanish capital was sent to the Castilla team to train and play with them at least until cleared or matured enough to play with the first team players. He scored four league goals in five matches. Then head coach, Julen Lopetegui decided to stick with the first team players and barely looked the Brazilian's way until he was sacked and Santiago Solari took the reigns.

Solari's first match was against Mellila, a team of the Spanish third division. Vinicius and some of his fellow Castilla players were called up and for the first time, majority of Real Madrid fans around the world got to see the stuff the Brazilian was made of.

Constantly running at the defence, not minding the consequences. Attempted and completed more dribbles than anyone on the pitch after the match. That is Vinicius.

From then on, coupled with injuries to Bale and Asensio, Vinicius has gone on to play every match of the year 2019 at his best position, the left wing. He has shown what he is capable of, the only player that knows what is required of the team. He pushes the team forward and always provides an option for attack. Whenever he is on the pitch, no matter if the match is lost or points dropped, the flair and exhibition of the Brazilian is enough happiness for every Real Madrid fan.

Although, the youngster still loses the ball often, bad decision making is still a worrisome aspect of his play, his fearlessness and attitude is enough reason to be enthusiastic and hopeful for greater things to come from the Brazilian.
