Apparently, the pieces are falling back into place,, the wheel that appears to be rolling over just weeks ago looks like it has been perfectly wielded back to its place. For the first time in a short time, Real Madrid looks and moves like Real Madrid and Solari should be the man being lifted high in the air for this.

Three games, 11 goals and none conceived so far for Solari at the desk of Real Madrid Football Club. His latest bombarding of Viktoria Plzen at their own base is a sign of better things to come from the former Castilla coach.

HOW IT HAPPENED..

Assuming managerial duties after the sacking of Julen Lopetegui, just like Zinedine Zidane after Benitez, Solari picked the mistakes of Julen and got his work to near perfection. Solari saw Real Madrid for what they are, a team of veterans that needs rest and help from young and vibrant players.

His first task, although with a third tier team saw him analyze the efficiency of his youngsters, and boy did they deliver. With the likes of Reguilon, Vinicius, Davis, Odriozola and Valverde pulling the strings from back to front and back, the veterans involved were able to save some strength and position more. After the 90minutes, a Real Madrid filled with more youngsters and less veterans appeared to have had fun walking over Melilla with ease.

Their next match saw the return of more Veterans and the same issue popped up. Until the introduction of Vicinus in the second half, Real Madrid were dreary, for much of the 90 minutes they lacked ideas on how to break the Valladolid wall. The introduction of Vinicnus sparked Real Madrid into life, the left flank became more lively, he ran constantly at the defenders and a shot from him was deflected into the net to open the scoring. Vinicius also laid the pass to Benzema that resulted in the French man being brought down in the penalty area after a nice piece of skill.

Just recently, the latest win from the Blancos team, a 5-0 drubbing of Czech Republic's Viktoria Plzen in front of their home crowd showed what Real Madrid has been lacking in the era of Julen Lopetegui. With Sergio Reguilon(21)playing at left back in the absence of Marcelo, Odriozola(22) playing at right back in the absence of Dani Carvajal, Dani Ceballos(22) came in for Luka Modric, the flanks were energetic with their runs, the midfield romantic with their touches, Dani Ceballos and Toni Kroos were the major cogs in the game as they displayed awesomeness in their ball distribution and decision making, as evident of the latter's 88passes, 95% accuracy, two assists and one goal. The ball retention of Dani Ceballos was enough to draw the opponents away from Toni Kroos most often than not.

IS SOLARI AS LUCKY AS ZINEDINE ZIDANE??

You could argue Solari is as lucky as his former teammate at the same club, Zinedine Zidane and be right with your case.

Zidane inherited a Real Madrid dressing room on the brink of disharmony and collapse, he brought everyone together and made each and everyone of them important. That alone wasn't the turning point of Real Madrid's game stats, the marvelous turnaround and success attained by Zidane was as a result of the deploying of the strong, tough and energetic Casemiro to help assist the midfield and defence. Casemiro was brought to light by Rafa Benitez, he was trying to influence the team with his philosophies but as it has been the case at Real Madrid, it is a team of egocentric superstars, you either win the battle while also seeking their selfish strategies or you will be left alone to fight your battle.

Casemiro was deployed alongside Modric and Kroos immediately by Zidane, the BBC became history, for either Isco or Gareth Bale had to be substituted for another. This particular change brought the team back to shape and pushed Real Madrid to LA Undecima and pushed Barcelona to the last match for the LA Liga trophy. Benitez was the orchestrator but Zidane was the finisher, Rafa ran for the trophy but Zidane ended up lifting it.

Same could be said for Julen Lopetegui and Solari, Julen saw the potentials in Dani Ceballos, Odriozola, Reguilon and Vinicius but the fear of the veteran stars in the team prevented him from stamping his authority in the team. Game after game since after the injury of their offensive main man Marcelo, they produced lacklustre displays, the final straw that broke the camel's back was the thrashing from Barcelona. Lopetegui was shown the door and Solari appointed as interim manager, Solari saw the mistakes Julen made and immediately effected change, he introduced the young blooded and energetic youngsters into the team and it is paying dividends. Three games, 11 goals and 0 goal conceded, Solari appears to have re-awakened the dragons, expect more goals and victories from this rejuvenated team..
