McGinn doubled the lead in the 59th minute, capitalizing on the goalkeeper’s miscalculation error to give his team the cushion, a goal that eventually became the winning goal that sends Aston Villa to the premier league.

Waghorn got a goal back for Derby in the 81st minute, firing in from close range to give hope to the Derby supporters and the manager, but unfortunately, they couldn’t find another goal to draw level.
