It was a really exciting moment for the Chelsea fans to welcome their very own legend back at the bridge. However, it wasn’t the kind of result they would have hoped for, but the fans understand that the team is still in a transitional process as they keep aiming for their first win this season.

Leicester were the underdogs for this game against Chelsea at the bridge. Much like Chelsea, they are also looking to get their first win this season after their 0-0 eyeglass scoreline at home against Wolves. Nevertheless, they are still yet to get their first win this season as they did well to stop Chelsea from claiming all 3 points at home.

It was a fantastic and exciting atmosphere at the bridge, the whole Chelsea fans were all very excited to welcome Super Frank Lampard for his first game at the bridge as a Chelsea manager.

Chelsea setup in a 4-2-3-1 formation, while Leicester setup in a 4-1-4-1 formation. The game began and immediately the Chelsea players were already pumped as the whole atmosphere was buzzing. The blues took control of the opening minutes of the first half and had a good number of goal scoring chances in the first 5 minutes of the game. The relentless pressing and attack saw them take the lead very early in the game. Leicester on the other hand, had more control in the second half and were able to get the all-important equalizer to earn a positive point at the bridge.

Mason Mount gave Chelsea the lead just 7 minutes into the game, winning the ball from his relentless pressing in the final third to slot the ball home.

Wilfred Ndidi who was the culprit of the goal scored the equalizer in the 67th minute, heading in a corner kick cross to level the scoreline and make amends for his mistake in the first half.

A disappointing result for Frank Lampard and Chelsea as they are still yet to get their first win this season. For Leicester, it was a positive result away from home, their second draw this season and are also yet to gain their first win. It was a game of two halves for both teams as they both settle with a single point.
