As we all know, tomorrow is the final premier league fixture of the season and there will be all the match actions taking place at the same time. Chelsea who finally became the only team in the top 4 race to mathematically secure champions league qualification, will be heading over to Leicester City who have had a pretty good season so far, for their final premier league of the season and a chance to finish the season on a high, in third position which seemed impossible months ago.
This is an important match for Chelsea who are aiming to finish 3rd and will be hoping to get the job done away at Leicester who have nothing to play for, but for home pride.
Leicester will pat themselves at the back for what they have done so far, currently in the top 10 and have a chance to seal the 9th position, in what has proved a very difficult season for them and for most as well.
Chelsea will look back at their season and be happy for how things quickly turned around for them in a short time. Starting the season with a new manager and a totally new style of play, things began to go on the decline for them and top 4 looked like a huge mountain considering how the other contenders were performing. Nevertheless, the past few weeks have been in their favor and they have finally turned the table around. Finishing in the top 4 which was their major target and reaching the finals of the Europa League, with a chance to cap the season with a silverware, they will look back and be happy for their achievements in what proved to be a very difficult and tricky season for them.
Leicester vs Chelsea
This is an important match for Chelsea despite already qualifying for champions league, as they want to finish the season above their top 4 rivals and most especially above their arch-enemy.
For Leicester, they have done well so far in their premier league campaign and will now focus on putting in a good performance in front of their fans, in their final fixture of the season.
Going into the game, Leicester will most likely set up in their usual 4-5-1 formation and will be aiming to have a good game against Chelsea at home. They will be aiming to express themselves and try to take the game to Chelsea. They have nothing to lose at this point which means they will most likely throw everything into this game to get a positive result in front of their fans.
For Chelsea, they want to seal their season on a high and will be focusing on putting a quality performance to try to get the job done against a very good Leicester side.
Going into the game, Chelsea will most likely set up in their usual 4-3-3 formation. They will possibly rest quite a few number of players due to their extra time involvement in the Europa League, which will give an opportunity to the players who have featured less this season. Their gameplan will be to dominate the game, keep possession and try to get the desired result, to seal what has become a very good season for them.
