It’s another exciting post for my ongoing what do you expect series… Today, our attention turns to the Bundesliga. Similarly to the La Liga, the Bundesliga is also another league heavily dominated by Bayern Munich and Dortmund over the years, however, things have begun to change as the likes of RB Leipzig have begun to bring what they can offer to the table. As always before I proceed further, yesterday was all about Atletico Madrid and what I am expecting from them next season… so if you haven’t seen the post, you can check the post out in my previous post.
The Bundesliga, a league that is owned by Bayern Munich when it comes to number of back-to-back Bundesliga titles. As expected, it is still the same old story this season as Bayern Munich are sitting in pole position with 5 points clear at the top… Looking at how things are so far, there is no doubt that they are most likely going to add yet another Bundesliga title to their cabinet this season. Their numerous triumph in the league has made some fans to regard the title as their birthright.
For them, their focus is in Europe as they have the league under their control. So far, the quarter-finals is already certain for them and will take some stupidity on their part to throw away a 3-0 away win at the bridge to get eliminated at home. That’s not even a topic of debate as we all know they are already focusing on their opponent in the champions league quarter-finals… for them, it will be another dream come true if they are able to go all the way this season. Whether that will be possible is still a probability and only time will tell. Let’s just hope that this whole coronavirus problem goes away and footballing actions returns to normal very soon.
Looking at Bayern Munich and well good they’ve been so far this season, a few talking points have been asked and one of them still remains; what should we expect from them next season? – For me, when it comes to what do you expect from Bayern Munich, there is nothing much to say as we all know that Bayern will still own the Bundesliga again next season… Maybe teams like RB Leipzig and Dortmund might give them a healthy push, but Bayern will always be Bayern as far as the Bundesliga is concerned.
The champions league is where I want to see them excel… They’ve dominated the league for so many years, but somehow they haven’t been able to do very well in the champions league… Like I said, I don’t expect anything much from them next season when it comes to the champions league, they will most likely go far in the competition next season, but I’m not sure they will be good enough to go all the way. Nevertheless, they are a top side and as always, they have all it takes to go all the way in any competition they are in.
