For second time in two consecutive seasons, Crystal Palace have come to Old Trafford and picked up all three points by beating Man United 3 - 1. Having won just one in their last 22 Premier League meetings against Man United, Palace came to OT with one objective in mind - to try and get all three points and they did. Thanks to a spirited performance lead by their talisman Wilfred Zaha.

This defeat, however, further underlines the need for more recruitment into the Man United squad. All round, it was dismal performance from the team as a whole. They lacked intensity.

Beginning with the defence, Maguire and Lindelof partnership in the game was a horrible scene to behold. They lacked composure. Failed to close down opposition players. Lindelof in particular was culpable for the first and last of Palace's goals. A need for a class CB.

The midfield and attack lacked efficiency. Players giving away possession cheaply and created very little chances in the whole game. Another reason for the fans to increase their clamour on social media for the signing of their long time target, Jordan Sancho.

In all of these disappoints however, there was something positive to talk about. The new boy, Donny Van De Beek made his debut and opened his Man United account with a consolation goal. Was very lively when he came in. Arguably their best player of the match.

A well deserved win for Crystal Palace anyways.
