Oh yeah Gigi Buffon is back at Juventus on a free transfer. All the details below, as always I won't be talking about salaries, only those hot stats here.

What more can I say, It's OFFICIAL, our superman captain is back for one last go (or so he claims, it seems this man wants to go on and on Forever More... I was 15 years old when he first signed for Juve in 2001).

Many will say that he is too old for Juve... but I will tell you the truth, as a REAL JUVE FAN... he really is too old for Juve but he's Gigi and I couldn't care a single bit! He probably wants to beat a record held by one of the all time Serie A greats in AC Milan's Paolo Maldini who holds the All Time Serie A appearances record. He needs to play in 8 Serie A matches to do so and realistically speaking if he hadn't announced his retirement towards the end of the 2017/18 season he would still be Juve's first choice Goalkeeper. Apparently that isn't the case this time around and rightly so as Szczesny(I had to look that up a couple of times) had a very good season and is very capable of playing the sweeper keeper role that Sarriball's high pressing will require.

Gigi has 9 "official" Scudettos, all with Juventus and he is the all time leader in terms of Serie A titles won. In truth Gigi also has the extra 2 "unofficial" winners medals that were revoked due to the 2006 Calpiopoli scandal. He is the all time leader in Serie A in terms of clean sheets as well and he only needs that Champions League Title to cement his place as the greatest keeper ever. This year it looks as though Juve are making a very serious statement of intent in that regard, they've made some very smart and at direct moves very early on in the transfer window and are definitely looking as one of the favourites for next year's UCL.

Gigi is definitely old but we know why he's here, he can help Sarri and his coaching team in terms of striking a balance between all our players. He did spend a season at PSG but he is still the player that has been a Juve for the longest time, he know's the club and he will know how to guide our newcomers and that is definitely something Juve need at this point.
