Some 4 days ago, one of our Pro Sportswriters @ordu-daniel provided us with information on the second UCL group encounter between Manchester United and Young Boys at Old Trafford. There were reports that UEFA considered it for the game to be played in a neutral venue outside the United Kingdom due to concerns about the Omicron variant of the Covid-19 virus.

Well, I bring to you a new update to that piece of information.

Update On The Match Venue

It has been confirmed that Old Trafford remains the venue for the UCL fixture scheduled to take place on Wednesday 8 December.

The Swiss government has given issued green light to BSC Young Boys to travel to the UK for the UCL fixture against Man United and return without facing the 10-day quarantine period that has been put in place for any UK returnee. This special permit also allows the UEFA Youth League fixture between both clubs to go ahead as scheduled in Manchester.

Looking forward to an entertaining encounter between Manchester United vs BSC Young Boys. 🤗🙌
