Nigeria international and NFF/AITEO young player of the year winner, Samuel Chukwueze shines as Villarreal played a 4-4 with Barcelona yesterday.

He scored a goal and made an assist to ensure his team shared the spoils with the La Liga giants with a brilliant finish.

Nigeria Young Player of the Year 2018 Samuel Chukwueze is the talk of the town after he scored a goal, provided an assist and generally tormented mighty Barcelona as Villarreal were held to a thrilling 4-4 draw at home.

Chukwueze pulled a goal back for Villarreal in the 23rd minute and was also involved when the home team drew 2-2 Sunday night.

He played on the right side of midfield and gave Spain star Jordi Alba a very tough night.

“He’s a handful, very talented,” the TV commentator simply described the Nigeria youngster.

Former Super Eagles international Ifeanyi Udeze remarked: “He’s a very, very good player. He has a lot of talent. I hope he continues this way.

“I also hope all the good things happening to him do not get into his head because they are all happening so fast.”
