Yesterday we did have a slow start for the weekend with both bets resulting in a push! Better than a loss of course.

On Saturday there are 6 games in the Premier League and 4 in the Jupiler Pro League. So it is easy to over bet yourself. Remind yourself to stick to the plan and work from there!

Everton vs Southampton

Both teams did draw on the first round of the Premier League, but I do think that Everton will have a better feeling about it than Southampton did!

Last season this fixture did end in a 1-1 draw, but I don't think that it will be the same this time! Yes Everton did concede two goals in the opening game, but I don't think that the offense of Southampton will be able to score.

The Everton win market is around 1.8, while Everton -1 is around 2.7! According to me it is worth the gamble to see Everton beating Southampton with a 2 goal or more difference!

Everton -1 will be my bet on this game with odds of 2.777!

Chelsea vs Arsenal

The most appealing game in the Premier League of the Saturday's matches! Chelsea did win their opening game comfortably with 0-3 against Huddersfield, while Arsenal was beaten at home by Man City with 0-2.

Arsenal away record last season wasn't very impressive with only 4 wins away from home. Both previous fixtures at Chelsea did end in a scoreless draw. And to be honest I don't expect many goals in this game. Chelsea will win, but rarely really humiliates their opponents!

The idea that Chelsea will win at home is also backed up by both models! Based on the stats from last season, I don't even see Arsenal finding the net. Last season Arsenal did score on average 1,05 away goals per game, while Chelsea did only had 0,84 goals against them in their own Stadium!
In the last 4 season, Arsenal did draw once at Stamford Bridge and lost 3 times.

Chelsea - Arsenal detailed stats!

I will play it safer and will go for Chelsea to keep the 3 points at home with odds of 1.85!

I will stay away from the other games in the Premier League. While I do have an idea about a 1X2 prediction, I am just not sure enough to bet on them!

Kortrijk vs Oostende

The closing game on Saturday in Belgium and the one which did attract my attention the most. Like all people we all think to have a feeling about a game and in this case I do think that Oostende should be able to win this easily. After this assumption I did checked the odds for an Oostende win and in my opinion they are way too high.

The odds for Oostende to win are around 2.8! So let's see if I can justify this bet!

Oostende did not had the best start of the competition, with lost games against Anderlecht and Genk and a small victory over Mouscron at home!
Kortrijk on the other side did had a scoreless draw against Antwerp (undeserved) and two pretty big defeats against Anderlecht and Club Brugge.

Which worries me the worst for Kortrijk is that they had only 10 goal attempts in these 3 games, while Oostende managed to gather 26 goals attempts!

Last season Oostende won twice against Kortrijk with 2-1 and 1-2! And Oostende did win on 3 of their last 5 trips to Kortrijk. While I am not 100% sure that Oostende will win again, but I did expect the odds to be around 2!

So, I will go for the value bet and take Oostende for the win. I will even place 2 units on this! In my opinion this is just a value bet!

Waasland-Beveren vs St Truiden

Well, like most of us I rarely bet on a draw, but this game has a draw written all over it!
So, I am forcing myself to do this!

St. Truiden did start the season, with yep, 3 draw. Twice a 1-1 draw and the season opener was even more boring with a scoreless draw!

Waasland did loose last round in Gent with 4-1, but the games before were indeed 2 draws!

Which makes this bet even stranger is that in the past 4 years, both teams did play 8 times against each other and none of these did result in a draw!

So, yes, not really a great analysis but the draw will be my bet with odds of 3.66!
