In a recent statement, a handful of English pundits have begun to criticize the elongated poor run of form of Manchester United winger Marcus Rashford.

In comparison to the early days of his career, the English man has now fallen short of what he was, a few seasons ago. So far, he has shown no signs of improvement.

Pundits discuss the issue

Prior to this time, we saw the English man become the deciding factor in games. However, now we see individuals like Anthony Elanga and Jadon Sancho become the deciding factor.

Some pundits suggest it has been the mild environment at Manchester United that has led Marcus Rashford to refuse putting in more effort to rekindle his form.

Under a manager like Pep Guardiola, or Jurgen Klopp, Rashford would have been forced, or shown the exit door.

England manager gives Rashford a heads up

After his poor form and constant injuries became imminent, Rashforf was then giving a talking to by Three Lions manager Gareth Southgate.

Southgate made it clear to the winger that it would now be tough for him to make it to the English squad. As his form has not been impressive.

Summary

Although the statement was done in a mild way, one thing was certain, Rashford would need to move at the same pace with modern football, or risk losing his spot forever.
