Coming from Africa where Football is the most popular sport that is being played in all nook and cranny of the streets, I've never found it daunting to appreciate any interesting idea that revolves around the game. So when I was contacted by @talesfrmthecrypt about how we can work together to present a Live Blog on top EPL matches here on Scorum, I bought the idea hook, line and sinker.

The platform plays host to intellectual sports enthusiasts from around the globe, and novel ideas like this will go a long way to promote interaction, while we catch fun and also get rewarded for our passion. This is like the Live Match commentaries we see on the Television and Listen to on the Radio with no much involvement. So it's very fascinating to see it on scorum, and with even better opportunity to be active while you still earn some bucks. It's everything awesome.

It's gonna be happening again this Saturday (3rd of November) at 5:30 (GMT) for ARSENAL vs LIVERPOOL. Do well to join us, it's gonna be interesting.

Why Would You Want To Join Us On Saturday (3rd November)?

Trust me, there are hundreds of reasons why you need to get involved in the Live Blog. The success of this novel project lies on how interactive it is, and that's why you're as important as the team. The audience remains the fuel that propels the engine of the Live Blog, and without those contributions, we would have been joking. Making use of the comment session to tell the community how you feel about a live match, or even predict the outcome of the matches, makes the show even more exhilarating.

Apart from your opinions about the games being known, The EPL Live Blog is also an avenue for newbies to get in touch with the big guys in the platform. We all know that socialization and interaction are some of the core pillars of this platform, and projects like this adds flesh to that notion. To grow your reputation and influence on the platform, relating with other users is just the best way to hit that target. The Live Blog Team have over 20k SP at her disposal to reward active audience, and could go as far as visiting the blogs of audience to show appreciation for being part of the project.

We look forward to the scorum Live Blog providing a relaxing couch for some football fans who may not be able to follow the games on the screen as they unfold, as they can actually get Live Updates on their favorite games just by searching for "Scorum Live Blog" on google, how awesome that will be. With the comments all pouring in to add flavour to those moments, people will always love to stop by. In addition to that, the Live Blog Commentaries and comments from the audience can go a long way to help sports bettors(any word like that?) know what people feel about the outcome of a game before they place their bets. These and so many other reasons are the packages embedded in the Scorum Live Blog.

Pre-Match Preview - Arsenal vs Liverpool.

Game Time: 5:30 pm (GMT), Saturday 3rd November.

It's gonna be another weekend of frenzy and fanfare in the English Premier League, as we warm up to the big clash between Arsenal and Liverpool at the Emirates stadium. Most of us have been waiting for this game, and my heart is already spinning as the kick-off draws closer. It's always a nice feeling watching two teams that are in form go head to head with each other, it makes the game worthwhile. Trust me, you may not wish for a better match.

A cursory look at their previous five meetings shows how these two teams welcome goals from each other. It may interest you to know that in their previous five encounters, none of the games have seen less than 4 goals, Now you can imagine that. In those Five previous clashes, Liverpool have won three while the remaining two ended in a draw. Both teams have joined efforts to bang in a total of 27 goals in those previous five meetings, so if you're placing your bet this weekend, feel alright to play over 2.5 goals, it seems almost certain to click. The statistics speaks for itself.

At the dawn of the season, not so many gave Arsenal the chance to be in the top four, but the Gunners have remained resilient in redeeming their status as a force to reckon with in the English Premier League. They must have had a shaky start, but trust me, the manager have been fixing a lot of cracks in the team, and the results are heartwarming for all Arsenal faithfuls. The boys from the Emirate stadium have won 7 out of their 10 league games so far, managing one draw and have conceded 2 defeats. It may not reflect a perfect performance for many, but trust me, Arsenal fans are impressed by the team's improvement. The Gunners are sitting at the 4th position on the league table with 22 points to their name. So far so good, they have fired a total of 123 shots in the EPL, with 54 hitting the target. They have found the back of the net 24 times with none coming from a penalty kick. Having been stopped by the woodwork twice this season, Arsenal have also moved to collect 17 yellow cards so far. They will sure need to check on that.

At the Other end is one of the current dreaded team in Europe, Liverpool. The arrival of Klopp has not only breath in the winning mentality into the team, it has infiltrated their subconscious with the notion that other teams just wanna avoid them. The past few seasons have seen the boys from Anfield grow from a Premier League butterflies to European football dragons, they are breathing fire! So far so good, no team have been able to defeat Liverpool this season after 10 games, winning 8 and drawing two, now that's not a team you will wish to play against. They sitting comfortably at the 2nd position on the league table with 26 points, just following the League leaders Manchester city on just goal difference. Liverpool have also scored a total of 20 goals so far this season, with only one coming from a penalty kick. The team have fired 145 shots, 57 have hit the target and 6 have kissed the woodwork. They seem to exude a lot of discipline so far, getting just 10 yellow cards this season, awesome stats I must say.
