FA CUP: Eddie Nketiah – Still not ripe enough to be an Arsenal starter

English pundits have criticised the performance of Arsenal forward Eddie Nketiah during the Gunners FA Cup clash against Nottingham forest.

According to the statements, Eddie Neketiah's performances were described as miserable and his movements poor.

Arsenal's performance

Aside from the results that did not exactly go their way, there were a bunch of things that did not seem right from the teams standpoint.

Considering the opponent, one would have expected the Gunners to be a more dominating force. Yet, the reverse proved to be the case. Mike Arteta's men were overrun and finished the game without a single shot on target.

On his part, the performance of Eddie Nketiah left so much to be desired. Twice during the game, the English forward had the chance to put Arsenal ahead, yet he failed to do so.

Highlights on Nketiah's performance

No doubt, it is no easy task to lead the attacking line for a team like Arsenal. However, when you stand up to the occasion, you prove yourself to be a quality material.

That was simply what Nketiah lacked. He proved that he was not yet ripe for the Gunners.

Overview

Manager Mikel Arteta had sum frank statements to make after the game. He urged the fans to stay positive, as he insisted the team would bounce back.
