As the scourge of Covid-19 continue to take its toll in more than 190 countries of the world with countries like the USA, Italy, France, Spain, Iran, China, being the ones severely ravaged by it, African counties so far have isolated cases of the deadly virus holding sway.
Blaise Matuidi who, since March 11 was announced to have contracted the virus has been in isolation for quite some time. in fact the mandatory two weeks or so has elapsed, but it appears that the ground is not quite clear yet for him to enjoy the freedom of movement and expression he is so used to.
Matuidi who has been confined to his house in Turin, France is to be further remain in isolation for another two weeks. This was made known to fans and the general public by his wife on her social media handle. Isabella Matuidi said her husband will be entitled to two weeks additional isolation. "Cool! We just resigned for another 15 days" she wrote on her Instagram account.
Matuidi who will be celebrating his birthday on April 9 is likely be forced to celebrate his birthday in isolation instead of having the choice of having a birthday bash with family, friends and associates. But such is the power of Covid-19 who is no respecter of persons or personalities. It is a good thing that the Juventus and French international Midfielder has survived the virus for a minimum of 15 days. This i believe is a clear indication that he will come out of it slightly scattered but alive and well.
