One of there hottest tournaments when it comes to the preseason would have to be the ICC. Every year, top clubs come up against each other before the main struggle starts. This is a seemingly good way to build up morale and stamina with the players and most teams would take advantage of this fact. After the drama with Gareth Bale when they faced Bayern Munich, Real Madrid gets another chance to put their disputes behind them before the new season kicks off. This chance would come when they face Arsenal who is currently going through rough times too. Regardless, it is a match of two European giants and we should be well entertained.

Real Madrid

Real Madrid has made some classy signing this summer. Their coach Zidane has taken his time to rebrand the team into something their fans would be proud of. At the middle of all, this would be the star man Eden Hazard which is set to ignite the feelings of passion in the club once more. However, their biggest problem right now would be Gareth Bale who appears to be on the fringes of the club. Against Bayern Munich, he appeared to refuse to play. This would be a cause of concern for his team and by extension Real Madrid.

Arsenal

Arsenal is in one deep hole right now. This preseason would be considered to be the worst in recent times for their actions off the pitch. On the pitch, they have been fantastic. They are yet to lose a game this preseason. However, with their captain Laurent wanting to leave the club and there being no real transfer this season, it looks like it would be the same old story for Arsenal this season. However, their preseason form has been quite encouraging and they would want to keep it going when they meet the former champions of Europe. Their form though completely dwarfs those of their opponents in spectacular ways.

Form

A single win is all that Real Madrid can boost in their last six games. The rest have unfortunately ended in four losses in which three have been consecutive and in the last three games with just one game ending in a draw. A very poor outcome for a club like Madrid and they would be desperate to end this bad patch.

Arsenal, however, has a much better footing and would love to use to exploit the current position of their opponents. Three straight wins are the kind of form which Arsenal are currently enjoying. In complete opposite of Real Madrid, their last loss can be traced back to their Europa finals against Chelsea where they lost the plot and were completely thrashed by Chelsea as they slumped to another defeat in the finals.

They would be confident heading into the game even though this is just a friendly game at the end of the day. We can expect some drama and great football to be on show when the game kicks off.
