Hi everyone, my name is Karlo (or Kac for short) and I'm from Croatia. I am 21 years old and I've been kicking the ball since I was 2, at least my mum says so.
I started of my journey when at the tender age of 6 and like many kids I wanted to become a professional. As I got older and possibly more mature I got more and more interested in other aspects of the game. Coaching, scouting, financial side, recovery, nutrition and so on. I got even more into it after suffering cruciate ligament rupture and meniscus tear; knowing well I'd be sidelined for a long time I took advantage of that time and delved more into recovery and nutrition off the pitch and tactical analysis on the pitch.
That surgery followed by mononucleosis (I know, staggering) destroyed my first chance for a semi-pro club, but I was reluctant to give up. Motivation was sky-high after my studies of the game actually came to use. Some of my friends were aware of what I was doing and wanted me to help them with recovery and nutrition. They were amazed with the results and recommended me to other people and so I actually made a few cents. Time came when I could even train some of them individually, knowing as I was always a big advocat of individual training I had a lot of knowledge even before that dreadful day of injury. And again, results were amazing, for them (also a bit for my wallet honestly) and for me as it was easier to get back into the game knowing how I helped them and they will help me.
Fast forward a year after my injury and we are here, I found this platform and saw the potential. I fell it can be a great tool for everyone whether you just want some news, analysis or to become a better player yourself. I want to give you something that can make you better in the game. Fortunately I had the privilege of working with high level coaches and therapist, also having a few talks with a chef and a nutritionist of a first division club. I tried to learn as much as possible from them and that knowledge I want to share with YOU! I hope we can get along and I can maybe teach you something you didn't know. Hard work and dedication will always pay off, so believe in yourself and strive to bring others up rather than taking them down.
P.S.
I'm a huge Chelsea fan so I might write something about them occasionally. KTBFFH!
P.P.S.
Yesterday I had my first game after a year, scored a goal 3 minutes after coming on, not so bad I guess.
