Thomas Partey, a Ghanaian midfielder is being wanted by Italian side Inter Milan and English Premiership side Manchester City for a transfer before the end of the month.

The 25-year-old had an exciting season last year which impressed Inter Milan. They have waited for a move this transfer season which is likely to be impossible.

The Atletico Madrid midfielders deal with the club will end until June 2023 and an amount of €50 million euros exit fee has been set on him for any club who is interested in the young midfielder services.

Now Manchester City has also reportedly shown interest in the Ghanaian, it will be a tough fight for Inter Milan comparing the clubs current form and pedigree currently to that of Man City. It will not be a surprise if he takes Manchester City over Inter Milan.

With Fernandinho absence City's midfield looks weak since he is the pillar in the Blues' squad and Thomas Partey is the right player to replace him.

Currently, Partey has started just seven La Liga matches from a possible 17 so far this season.

This is what he had to say

“Sometimes I do not feel happy at Atletico''
“If you want to change this feeling then you need to be playing in important games and feeling stronger, more confident.
“I have played well so far this season when I have been on the pitch.”

This is the current teams he features in - Atlético Madrid with the number 5 jersey and plays the role of a midfielder and also Ghana national football team, number 5, Midfielder. He was also once nominated for BBC African Footballer of the Year.
