Son Heung-min recalled the joy of winning the third English Premier League (EPL) Player of the Month of October award to his personal career.

Son Heung-min said in an interview that he never believed he could be awarded the player of the month of October despite several players in the league that is far much better than him.

Son Heung-min was selected as the player of October in recognition to his performance in October scoring four goals and two assists in the three EPL games, overtaking the most prominent teammate Harry Kane and other nominated candidates.

This is the third time since September 2016 and April 2017 that Son Heung-min received the Player of the Month award.

Son Heung-min said, “There were a lot of great players who performed particularly well that deserved an award this month. So, the third award comes in a deeper meaning. It was an incredibly great honor.”

Son Heung-min is showing off his climax this season. He is ranked second with 9 goals in the scoring rankings behind Everton player Dominic Calvert-Lewin who has scored 10 goals, he has really helped Tottenham Hotspur this season in achieving the first position.
