Well, it's safe to say that the season didn't get off to a good start for the West Ham United Hammers. Mohamed Salah and the Liverpool Reds destroyed West Ham 4-0 with ease. Salah started the scoring fest with an easy finish in the 19th minute. Mane' kept the party going with a goal before the end of the half and another one in the 53rd minute. Sturridge added insult to injury in the 88th with a tap-in off of a set piece.
As bad as this match was for West Ham, it could've been worse. Liverpool dominated every aspect of this game and could've easily scored 6 or more goals.
After a 0-4 loss to Liverpool, the Hammers are all alone in last place in the EPL standings. All is not lost, but something has to change. Next up for the Hammers is Bournemouth on 8/18.

Is West Ham really this bad, or were they simply outmatched and not yet ready to play effectively as a team after so much change this offseason? Please comment below, and thank you for stopping by!
