After failing to win in their last five matches, West Ham United finally returned to form on Tuesday evening, defeating Watford on the road in impressive fashion.

The match did not start well for the Hammers. In the fourth minute, Watford's Emmanuel Bonaventure scored on a beautiful strike in the upper right corner of the net. It would take West Ham over 20 minutes to even the score, when Tomas Soucek scored easily after a nice pass from Bowen.

The Hammers would add on three additional goals, including on a penalty kick that was earned by Bowen. Bowen had a tremendous match with two assists and the forced penalty that was finished by Mark Noble.

The win temporarily raises West Ham back into 5th place in the EPL table with 31 points. The Hammers are now one point ahead of Tottenham and three points ahead of Manchester United.

What's Next for the Hammers?

After their impressive victory, the Hammers will now visit Crystal Palace on 1/1 before facing Leeds United in back to back matches -- the first in the FA Cup and then seven days later in the EPL.

Entering a soft part of their schedule, West Ham has an opportunity to return to the top four in the EPL. Although it won't be easy, Arsenal, who currently sit in 4th, face Manchester City, Liverpool, and Tottenham in their next three EPL contests.

Go Hammers!
