Former Everton manager and current manager of the dutch national team Ronald Koeman, has told Liverpool defender Virgil Van Dijk to reduce the way he commits defensive blunders. Speaking with journalists on tuesday he said he wasn't happy with the mistakes made by his captain that led to the 2-1 defeat to France in the European Nations League and the match between Liverpool and Manchester city where he gave away a penalty.

Asked if he was angry at his captain, he said never "he is still my main man and I want him to get better".
