Bayerns deal for Sane

During the past 12months, Fc Bayern has continually shown interest in Man-City’s Leroy Sane.

On his part, Sane has refused to sign a new deal with the current Pep Guardiola’s side. The German international has just a year left in his current City contract. It obviously looks like his days as a city player are numbered.

Bayern has expressed in no uncertain terms their desire to seal a deal for the youngster over the years. However, the £130m transfer request has been their major turnoff.

A move to Bayern seems to be on the cards for Sane, putting into consideration his market value apparently declined after he spent the majority of his 2019-2020 season on sidelines. No thanks to injuries.

Reasons for Sane’s signature

On an outward view, the Bayern squad looks like a team that needs no reinforcement on the flanks. The likes of Kingsley Coman, Ivan Perisic and the muscle-man from Germany, Serge Gnabry have done fantastically well.

Still, bearing in mind Barcelona loanee Phillipe Coutinho may well return to the Camp Nou, a move for Leroy Sane does not look to be a bad idea.

On the defensive side of life, Bayern is also in chase of a right-back, as their conventional centre back Benjamin Pavard has filled the role for the majority of the season.

Conclusion

As the Bayern-Munich side are continually looking to expand their squad with quality players, the future is looking pretty colourful.
