Globoesorte created a poll for supporters to choose the 23-man Canarinha squad for 2022 World Cup in Qatar. Brazil has already started thinking about Qatar. Just some days ago five-times champions said goodbye to their dream in Russia. But the Canarinha fans have changed their focus on winning the sixth title in 2022. The lineup has already been assembled in Globoesporte poll, in which more than 53,000 Internet users took part. They selected 23 players from the list of 57 footballers for the 2022 World Cup.

The fans included eight players that were in Russia with Tite in the lineup of the “winning” team. The situation on the bench is different: only two players may be convened one more time. The most voted player is Philippe Coutinho. He has 53,800 votes. Barcelona’s signing Arthur follows him with 53,000 votes. Lucas Paqueta from Flamengo (52,300) follow. Neymar’s appearance in the poll is surprising. He is ranked 7th with 50,400 votes, although with a 10,000-vote advantage over his rivals for attacking positions.

The average age of the future winners would be 29 years, 28.5 if to count with the substitutes. Two players from Real Madrid will be at the age of extremes: Marcelo, who would come to his third Mondial at the age of 34, and Vinicius Junior, who would come for the first time at the age of 22. The other player that will be in the team in 2019, Rodrygo, wasn’t included in the list of the candidates.

The team chosen by the fans comprises: Ederson – Danilo, Jemerson, Marquinhos, Marcelo – Lucas Paqueta, Casemiro, Arthur – Coutinho, Gabriel Jesus y Neymar.
