Wolverhampton players celebrating

Hello everyone! Welcome back to another sport educating post from @Oxygen02. Yesterday in the English premier league wk15 see Wolverhampton welcoming Chelsea to Molineux Stadium in a match which ended 2-1 in favor of the home team.

Chelsea open the scoring through Ruben Loftus Cheek in the 18 minutes and continue press high and dominating the match before half time. Raul Jimenez equalize for Wolverhampton in the 59 minutes of the game before Diogo Jota stunned Chelsea in the 63 minutes and make it 2-1 for the home team.

It wasn't a good outing for the Londoners as this result will see them dropping to 4th on the log table after Tottenham win Southampton 3-1 at Wembley stadium. Chelsea dominate the match with 39-70 on ball possession with 3 shot on target and 10 shot off target while Wolverhampton had 2 shot on target and 3 shit off target.

What Went Wrong Again?

Honestly, i was really expecting a tough match against this team after proving themselves against Manchester City and causing havoc for other top clubs. Sarri need to realize that this is not Italy where you can stick to a particular pattern of play every week. Kante is really a blessing to this team but is operating in the wrong position. Kante is not the player who can score a long range shot and while is he playing in that role? No wonder this team always find it difficult to score goals like their rivals.

The line up make me feel like Sarri is preparing for Manchester City because 3 of his star players were rested in this encoute, the limes of David Luiz, Jorginho and kovacic. Christensen' replace David Luiz and failed to prove himself in this match, Cesar is not the player i use to know before this season, is only playing to maintain his position and not to provide assist as before. After watching this match, what i think is really affecting this team is the defense line and the only way to solve it is to change the tactics and deploy Kante to his rightful position.

Chelsea will play the league leader Manchester City in WK16 and with this style of play from Sarri, the only thing i see him winning in that match is ball possession.

What do you think?
