The most anticipated match of the year will be this Saturday 1 June when Tottenham and Liverpool meet in the capital of Spain in the final of the Champions League 2019 (in the Wanda Metropolitano).

These two teams know each other very well, as has been very frequent clashes between the two teams in England, so it is unlikely that there could be surprises at this point, although the statistics favor Klopp's men. Of the last thirteen clashes against White Hart Lane's squad, only one defeat was conceded back in 2017, when Tottenham beat their Premier League rivals 4-1.

Tottenham and Liverpool have met 170 times between all competitions. On 79 occasions the reds won the 48 spurs, with 43 draws in between. In Europe, the dominance of the Anfield box is still evident.

The only cross between the two took place in the UEFA semi-finals in 1973. Lindsay gave Liverpool a minimal lead in the first leg (1-0) and the two Heighway goals in the second leg did not serve Tottenham for the comeback (2-1).

Liverpool will play their ninth European Cup/Champions League final, more than any English team.

Liverpool have won the trophy five times, but have lost their last two finals in 2007 and 2018.

Tottenham will play their first European Cup/Champions League final and are the eighth English team to do so.

This is the second time that two English teams face each other in the history of the European Cup/Champions League, as the first time was in 2008 between Manchester United and Chelsea, where Manchester United won by penalty.

Who do you think will win this great final?
