Hey y'all, It's been a little over a week since I did my introduction post on scorum, but just want to let everyone know I'm still around and and active, so I want to try my blogging skills in a grand fashion. (Just like our recently built stadium in Atlanta, GA.) Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Home of the Atlanta Falcons, and my personal favorite Atlanta United FC. I'll share a little bit of my visit in this post as well as take you on a tour of the entire stadium. So let's get to it!

The Visit: Inside

Excited To Be At the Game

As you can see, I was excited to see the stadium, and of course my very own Atlanta United Score a goal! Either way, let me take you on a tour of inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The showstopper of the stadium, in my opinion would have to be the giant TV screen! The screen wraps in a circle around the entire stadium so that no matter where your sitting, you can always see the close up action on the screen from any seat in the house. Visitors can easily see any action packed replays just by looking up,  it is bound to capture the eye of everyone inside by lighting up in multiple bright colors and celebrations after the home team scores!

Also quite noteworthy is the giant retractable roof! During my visit it was closed but the roof can retract completely leaving the stadium exposed to the outside elements. Players and fans can experience Atlanta's outside weather from inside with just the push of a button. Not accessable to the public of course...

I caught a quick picture of the stadium seats and pitch before the game started. The turf is artificial and the seats are comfortable however not necessary because your on your feet the entire game!

The Outside

Driving to the Stadium

Driving up to the stadium, the anticipation begins to build as this newly constructed marvel appears down the road. My personal picture doesn't quite do it justice, however the stadium is grand and elegant, much like the name. It's quite the experience I must say!

Here is a drone shot of the retractable roof   I mentioned earlier. When it is completely closed, the large Mercedes-Benz emblem appears on the top of the roof, it's quite magnificent to view.

A live view of the roof in action: I personally have not seen it open or close however, here is a short video of the process.

The Grounds

There is an array of things to do right outside the stadium, especially for anyone who lives the night life. There are plenty of restaurants or other attractions within walking distance or a short drive of the stadium.

The Falcon

Right out side the front of the stadium stands the statue of the metal falcon. It is a must see if you visit the stadium. Just one of many magnificent sites to see at the stadium. There are quite a few nearby statues which are well worth the short walk to get some great pictures for memories.

The Olympian

Overall the experience was wonderful, I suppose at a cost of $1.6 Billion dollars to construct most people would expect nothing less. As for me I can't wait to visit again and will be doing another blog possibly even vlog when I do.
