This is ridiculous affair between the London club "Chelsea" and the football association (FA). Fifa couldn't let bygone be bygone as Chelsea went miles signing 14 underaged players. In this effect, they potentially breached the Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players. Bertrand Traore's case seems to be the lead for the investigation about the signing of underaged players.

It was disclosed that Traore's mother and his former club received the whooping sum of £154,000 and £13,000 respectively for the release of Bertrand. This is just the tip of the troublesome iceberg I'm reference to this case.

Arsenal Club FC on the other clock end also revealed in their website on a standard match report that Traore featured against their under 18 side in 2011. Chelsea on the other part denied the player getting involved in any official match before his 18th birthday. They stuck to the fact that he was only on trial. It was asserted but yet to be proved that Traore signed for the blues at the age of 16 when he was still a schoolboy. The case of a player who was sold a year and six months ago to Lyon at the rate of £8.8m is back to hunt Chelsea😰. This is savagery of its highest order. Chelsea did really crossed the line.

It was under the reign of Jose mourinho that the Burkina Faso went on a pre season tour with the blues where he scored four goals. He equally toured around the Far East, visiting Malaysia and Indonesia in 2014. Not to disclose the violation of FIFA's rule, the club officials convinced and connived with the travelling media team not to make a say about the young star. With every controversy, denials, undercover and total speculations, FIFA divulged that Bertrand had played 25 unregistered games for the London club. With this prospect, the Blues are bound to face two seasons transfer ban(placed on embargo from recruiting players for four transfer windows).

While The Blues were reportedly denying having the Burkina Faso star play any official match, they released the statement; “The club has fully co-operated with Fifa and has provided comprehensive evidence demonstrating its compliance with the applicable Fifa regulations. We will not comment further on speculation concerning confidential contracts or player related matters".
