Liverpool is well known for the dominance on top of the table during and after the Christmas festivals. Even if not for so long, they've dominated couple of years past. Some they blew their chances, others they glorified themselves with. The 2020/21 season campaign looks like it's getting to every team unaware. Liverpool's lost to Southampton on Tuesday night have given Manchester United a clear edge to top the table if they should scratch out a 3 point victory from their encounter with Burnley next Tuesday. A win against Burnley will shoot them 3 points clear to the top of the table. While their next fixture (Liverpool) after Burnley will test their (Man Utd) resistance ability.

On the other news, Manchester city are relaxing in 5th place with just 4 point shy from the table. They've also got two outstanding games at hand. Winning both games will definitely shoot them to the top or second place if Manchester United should win Liverpool. Pep Guardiola is not a man to erase off any title challenge. I am very positive the Spaniard has got his eyes fixed on the title this time around.

As we await every drama of the EPL title challenge to explode, let's all enjoy the EFL semifinals Manchester Derby tonight @ 20:45 GMT+1. This is a game I won't like to predict just to avoid sentimental issues. Both teams are in form and I believe the better team will secure a spot in the finals.

See you around.
