Manchester City caught up with the Champions League finalists, after defeating its Greek host Olympiacos, with a goal without reply, this evening, Wednesday, in the framework of the fourth round of the group stage.

Phil Foden scored the goal for Manchester City in the 36th minute.

Manchester City raised its score to 12 points at the top of Group C, while Olympiacos stuck at 3 points in third place.

Manchester City started the match strongly, with a shot by Rodrigo from outside the penalty area in the third minute, which was caught by goalkeeper Sa.

Foden penetrated the left side of the penalty area in the ninth minute, before he hit a ball, which was saved by goalkeeper Sa again.

Man City continued its early advance towards the Greek team's goal, with a header kicked by Jesus in the 11th minute, which was caught by the Olympiacos goalkeeper.
