Conte and Paratici

I saw tweets saying Tottenham are looking for defender, midfielder and winger in January transfer window. Source of them is writings of Times Sport. Names connected with Spurs are disappointing. Conte told multiple times he wants experienced proved players which can instantly make team better and all names I can see are very average lads which are in the best case of same quality of those already in squad. You tell me how names of already bought Djed Spence and "very interesting" target for January 60 million pounds worth Anthony Gordon fit in that profile ?

First one will not play even if Emerson Royal, Matt Doherty, Sess, Perisic all get injured because Conte will put Lucas or Dejan Kulusevski on right wing back before him. He told multiple times he is not ready, playing in Championship and Premier League is not the same, there is technical and tactical gap to close etc... Gordon is playing for Everton, but he is struggling with his current team. From what I saw he's not player to attack title with and his price is laughable high. Surely there is no way Conte or Paratici think he is the missing link for attack for the title ? FFS I don't think he is any better than Bryan Gil.

Let me remind you that Daniel Levy signed new guy from Iceland with not so clear role of "performance director" Gretar Steinsson from Everton. He was so good that he brought Everton to relegation fight last and most likely this season. Soon after we were ready to pay any price for bang average player like Richarlison and now we are ready for Gordon "to attack trophies". That tells me that Gretar Steinsson and Daniel Levy are running the show and deciding who will we buy and that is for big concern.

Fans would like to know who exactly brought which player to club. Everything looked idyllic from buying Romero, appointing Conte to Bissouma and Perisic, but then club signed that guy from Everton and we suddenly start bringing and interesting for bang average players ready to overpay them. So I'd like to ask who is running the show with incoming and outgoings from Tottenham these days ? Fabio Paratici and Antonio Conte or Daniel Levy and Gretar Steinsson ?!

We want to play for the trophies and we have maybe 7-8 players ready for that in entire roster of our club: Kane, Son, Kulusevski, Bentancur, Hojbjerg, Bissouma, Perisic and Romero.
