More and more fans of Tottenham Hotspur realize what is real problem in this club. It's not players, it's not managers, it's ownership which prioritize profit over glory. During Chelsea match on Sky Sport pundits and ex players Jamie Carragher and Jamie Redknapp said it's time for someone else to run this football club. They said current owner brought club to certain level, built stadium and facility, but state of affairs on the pitch and failing to win anything significant for 24 or 25 years is unacceptable. Tim Sherwood was also on this line. They all agree Tottenham miss the best players because they don't want to pay salaries like other big 6 clubs despite they are 3rd sport club in world when it comes to profit and revenue and with policy like that they will hardly be competitive to win anything. Tim Sherwood pointed out that he picked up a lot of managers since taking charge of Spurs and no one a part from Pochetino was able to make this club competitive. Conclusion is there is enough money now, but board is refusing to spend and because of that they ended up with thin squad where one or two injuries can turn things around in big way.
Tottenham player Cristian Romero also published on social networks something like look how other big clubs reinforcement themselves. Look at City, Liverpool, Chelsea what they are doing, they are examples to follow he said. Post has been deleted later, but fans registered it and more and more of them are becoming Levy and Enic out! Even my favorite twitter account SpursSongSheet is disappointed in this ownership which is ignoring fans demands to improve atmosphere on the stadium.
Respectable sources of news like Allasdair Gold and P. O'Keefe pointed finger toward ownership saying managers are face of failure, while real reason sits in chairman position, that main goal in the Summer was to lower salary bill and that's real reason why they bought "young players for the future". Ultimate yes man on the bench Angelos Postecoglou said he wanted them all, while in reality he wanted Neto, Gallagher, Eze and got Odobert, Bergvall and Gray.
It seems like there will be a protest against ownership before Liverpool home game and I hope it will be much bigger than previous. This what Daniel Levy and his board are doing is unacceptable! Let's mention recent bad doings: appointing wrong manager (again!) who never worked in top 5 leagues who is stubborn and who is enforcing bad tactics because of which players are falling injured like in war, because of which we are widely open for conceding goals, appointing very bad coaching staff members, appointing doubtful people who should lead sport sector of club like Scot Munn and Lange instead of giving chance to Gabannini who made great transfer window, rising already the most expensive ticket prices, abolish ticket price discount for elder fans, refusing to pay salaries to players like other big 6 clubs are paying, giving "bonuses" to already high chairman salary, doing criminal bad summer transfer window etc...
It's not about glory, winning things, it's all about money and greed for that people! They were in charge of AEK Athens until fans forced them to go away... I really hope Tottenham fans will do the same. Those same people should not be allowed to appoint yet another wrong manager and to talk about 'new rebuilds' while in reality they take money from club and fans like with shovel! They had enough time, no less than quarter of century, to do what they wanted to do and they didn't win anything significant! If big club don't win trophies for year or two it could be because of players, if it can't win for 3-5 years it could be manager, if trophy drought last more it's because of board or that club! Big, world wide well known, famous club who first won European trophy, who was once first in number of FA Cup trophies deserve better owners than those from ENIC!
It's not important who noticed this problem first, who was right all time long like Brian Dagul from TottenhamOnTour or Stellios and Iggy from TottenhamAway, person behind WorldOfHotspur twitter account, BoyHotspur or someone else. For the record I think it's Brian Dagul. What is important is that this fanbase unite. It's time for all fans to wake up, unite and say in one voice: EnicOut, LevyOut, TavistockOut, CullenOut!
Get out of our club serial losers!
P.S. new song is already there: I don't care about Levy, he doesn't care about me, all I care about is Kulusevski...
