I hope you are ready to dive in dirty mud of Serbian football. Interview of ex vice president of Partizan and professor of law on Belgrade University Vladimir Vuletic leaked in Serbian press. I asked him personally over twitter are those writings truth and he replied yes. The most shocking detail was moment when, according to him, high ranked government official Novak Nedic came in 2015 with gun asking Partizan FC general director at that time Nenad Popovic to rig game between Borac Cacak and Partizan Belgrade in way that Borac win so they can stay in league!
Nenad Popovic refused that and called coach Zoran Milinkovic and told him if he lose he will sack him first thing in the morning! Legendary answer. However clash between various fractions in club continued, Novak Nedic and his father wanted takeover of club.
They got new chance after infamous Partizan defeat agaist Augsburg at home 1:3 which was end of Europa League campaign for that year. During the night they organized urgent meeting of executive board where Novak Nedic's father requested urgent removing of Nenad Popovic from director position. Around 1 o'clock in the morning 4 members of group I described in previous article break in asking Popovic to resign in aggressive way. Popovic escaped in his office and didn't go out for 4 hours. That defeat from Augsburg and Andrija Zivkovic's red card in 80th minute and goal in 89th minute by Bobadila are looking different from this perspective!
Nedic family asked Vuletic to find model how they can take over club. Vuletic came in Partizan on call of present director Milos Vazura who was his law student, but his role was not to significant at that time. Ex vice president then found model for temporary management of club with so called "work group". Yes that's how they do it in ex communist countries where club is not private but "public good".
Milos Vazura is by the way best man of Novak Nedic or as he said 'ex best man'. They made "work group" which will take over management of club and Novak Nedic believed he has majority in that body, but alas his best man voted against his proposal! Novak Nedic recommended Milos Vazura to position which he is now occupying and he's voting against his proposals ?! Betrayal! Outrageous!
Vladimir Vuletic meet Novak Nedic day after that and Novak gave him proposal to break assembly of club with help of "supporters" (read group I wrote about in previous article). Assembly of club should vote and elect new president. They wanted to break it to prevent other fraction to get elected. However Vuletic refused that proposal. He then received death treats from supporters "Watch yourself there is life after Partizan" and "You are finished you gaylord we're going to kill you" etc... Vuletic complained to his friend owner of FC Zeta and later get reply that supporters are telling him to erase those messages and to forget about it and apologized.
After that happen that parking attack on Partizan general director Milos Vazura's bodyguard. In finish of his interview in police Vladimir Vuletic refused any connection with drugs, sniper or any non sport connection with now arrested group.
In his shocking interview for Al Jazera he said president's son Danilo worked in agency for selling players and that background of that clash was wish of various groups to participate in lucrative business like selling of young players from Partizan academy abroad. Partizan football school is one of the best in Europe. On example rising star from Fiorentina Dusan Vlahovic came from it.
Meanwhile I found out that president Vucic said he has 1570 (yes it's not mistake one thousand five hundred seventy) eavesdropped phone calls about football. No domestic agency can listen his calls legally because he's head of state, but if he used unknown prepaid mobile cards to call suspicious persons under police investigation he might be listened legally. Some people are saying it happen here. Opposition leader Dragan Djilas also Red Star fan asked president in public with who and about what he talked 1570 times about football" ? His reply over tv news was "You have secret accounts in Mauritius" LoL :)
It's shocking for me as Partizan fan since childhood to see all of that. Threatening with gun to rig game, this way for removing and appointing directors of club etc... I wonder how this toxic political influence in Serbian football can stop ? If 1570 phone calls about football is not political influence I don't know what it is. Is it enough for UEFA to finally say what is enough is enough ?
