There is new scandal in Tottenham. Someone in club either doesn't know FIFA rule about max number of players allowed to loan either can't count up to 10. They published they are sending Matt Doherty on loan to Atletico Madrid and then realized they can't because they already have 8 internationally loaned players and can't send nineth. What did they do then ? They've found "hacker solution" near midnight which is to mutually agree on termination of contract of Matt Doherty so the player can go to Atletico Madrid. LoL! What an incompetence! Who is running this club ? How can it be ? LoL!
Matt Doherty is not maybe player for attack on title, but is very solid and would surely have offers from Premier League despite he's 31 years old. His current transfermarkt value is 12 million. I have no reason to doubt someone would pay at least 5-7 for him if he was put on transfer list on time and that could be done if we didn't haggle like on market and drag deal about Porro until last day of transfer window!
If we sold some player non wanted by coach plus 30 million they claimed we have for this transfer window we could rise money for paying 45 million and damn administrative fee of 2.8 million and probably would have 15% or rights of future sell of Edwards... That is what normal people owning normal club would do.
What's my humble opinion about this transfer window ? I am satisfied we signed Porro, I am very angry on way how we dragged those negotiations, I am indifferent toward Danjuma, but if Conte wanted him I am ok with that too. I won't comment Job Bellingham business of 1 million... That's 8.5 million in total sum from told 30 million. I am extremely unhappy we didn't sell any of players coach doesn't count on and we had offers for Sanchez, Tanganga, Spence, Gil, Ndombele, probably Lo Celso too... We didn't address central defense issues and didn't bring anyone better than Dier or Davies and Lenglet, better substitute than Sanchez etc... We didn't solve goalkeeper problem.
Good thing is we have two serious wing backs now Ivan Perisic and Pedro Porro with not as bad as people are telling substitutes like Sess and Emeris.
