According to Goal, Barcelona are ready to make a final offer for Inter’s Lautaro Martinez. The Catalan giants are hopeful of replacing Martinez for Luis Suarez who is about to join Juventus.

Honestly, this deal won’t go through because of the hefty release clause set on Martinez by Inter. Moreover having already spent more than €100 Million on the likes of Dembele, Coutinho and Griezmann, the board may not be confident of breaking the transfer record fee of €110 Million. Lautaro is a versatile striker having scored 14 goals in 35 appearances this season but the main issue is the price tag. If Barcelona are able to sign Martinez, it will surely be worthwhile as the Argentinian could strike up a good partnership with Messi and be the ideal candidate to replace Luis Suarez.

An ideal fee for Martinez should be around €75 Million based on his stats however Inter won’t budge for such a low fee for the 23 year old.
