With a very heavy doubt last night, I knew Leicester city would eventually fall out of Carabao cup. It's been weeks now that Leicester city lost their spirit of consistency, it all started on and from their goal king (Vardy), he already lost the momentum at which he was striking hard some weeks back.

Having Villa to have won the first half of the game was quite informative and somewhat appealing. They played it all like it was all they had left, and truly, they had nothing left. Not starting Vardy, it think that was quite a mistake for Rodgers, maybe he wasn't that fit but the combination of Perez and Ikelechi at the upfront doesn't appear bright for the team at all.

The Foxes were even able to equalize just when Vardy came in, winning the match or pushing down to a penalty shootout could have been a possibility for them but Villa used the total strength and force they had upfront to keep Leicester city under an unlikely pressure in the late minutes. It all ended, it was a 2-1 win in favor of Villa.
