After Steven G left, I kept looking for a good skipper who will filled his position. We know how good Steven G Is, finding someone to filled his position wont be that easy. He alone acheived alot fo the Liverpool fc team, he won lots of trophy except the English premier league. There was season he came close to winning it, his slip against Chelsea fc cost him that trophy, that chattered his progress. When comparing him to other plaeyers, his comparison is poor became of the league trophy he never won. You can't compare him to John Terry and Frank Lampard of Chelsea. That doesn't places him down below, he is still a legend.
When he left, Liverpool fc, I was really down that day, I though his replacement will be hard to come by, we all know is a legend, when removing sentiment from it. After retiring, he handed over his captain hand band to Jordan Herson. The man who is next in line to carery this mantle. One good thing that I love about Jordan Henderson is that he plays same football like Steven Gerald. He loves those long passes which Steven G always dish out. He has improved on his passing askills, as this has helped contribute to reds win and progress so far.
I know he his a good players, but I was doubting he can take over the Legend driving seat. Yes, he does. For some time now, he has been doing what he loves best, he has also scored good goals, the only side he missed out from Steven Garald is that he lacks the abiltity to score free kick. I have not seen him scores free kick, no wonderful he never wants to take one.
The reason I called him underrated is that he has not been recognised like Steven Gerald, he is not winning that individual record. We all know Jordan Henderson has won the Europe Champions league, Club world cup and Super cup this season.
From the way it is going, they will win the English champions league this season and it will go down in history as the first league trophy after the name was changed to Barclays premier league. What a season for him, he truly deserve individual award.
