As reported by the English newspaper 'The Sun', Manchester United reached an agreement with the Leicester for the transfer of Harry Maguire. The newspaper indicates that the 'red devils' will pay around 90 million euros for the 26-year-old Englishman, who would become the most expensive center in the history of football. This figure would exceed the 85 million that Liverpool paid to Southampton by Virgil van Dijk in January 2018. According to the same source, Maguire will carry out the medical examination tomorrow with Manchester United. The Solskjaer team would thus surpass Pep Guardiola's Manchester City competition, which according to the English press was also interested in the defense.

Maguire would become the third signing of the Old Trafford team in this market, after Wan-Bissaka and Daniel James. In the event that the 90 million transfer is confirmed, it would become the second most expensive signing in the history of the 'red devils', only surpassed by Paul Pogba, which cost 105 million euros when he changed Juventus for Manchester. Harry Maguire, 20 times full international for England, played in Leicester City in the last two seasons. In the 'foxes', he made 76 games and scored five goals.
