Cult UK indie-rock band The Libertines made some headline news as they agreed to sponsor Margate FC – Kent-based club from 6th division. Therefore they will put their band logo across the side’s home and away kits, like that:
No big surprise that inquiry for new club shirts dramatically increased within few hours – one jersey now costs €37. NME says that The Libertines will stay Margate sponsors for the entire 2018/19 season. The fun fact is that in 1996 Margate FC been sponsored by another cult UK band Bad Manner.
