This has always been an argument whether professional players wear their jerseys just once or they switch into new jerseys for every match.

These days, football is pure business compared to what it used to be back in those days. If a player wears a jerseys just once and it's then disposed off, the club is going to lose some bucks especially if the club is very caution of financial management.

Jerseys always get rewashed and reused multiple times and are always demanded to be donated to charity and that's why you don't see players swapping their jerseys after every match. Some players even pay money to their club for swapping their jerseys with another player.

Players wear their jerseys as many times as they can provided it's not torn or damaged. If it rips a bit, it gets sewn up. If it has a major damage, it will get replaced. Besides, jerseys is made to last for over 50 matches, therefore, it can be used and washed over 50 times.

I think it all depends on the financial status of the club in question and also the sponsors of the jerseys and the amount involved in it. The amount Adidas will use to sponsor the Jerseys of a club like Manchester United will be quite more than what the same Adidas will use to sponsor a club like Fulham.

Take for example, a club like Eibar or Osasuna will try their best to optimise their resources and wash the kits for further use just to minimize the cost involved. But if it's big clubs like Barcelona or Real Madrid with higher sponsorship deals, players could wear their jerseys only a few times before it's disposed but the same cannot be said for lower clubs

Like I said earlier, everything depends on the sponsor and Management of Football Team
