Super Eagles Coach, Gernot Rohr is one of the most criticized foreign coaches Nigeria has ever had. He has always been heavily criticized for one reason or the other ever since he assumed the duty of the Super Eagles coach.

The core area Rohr has been criticized is the lack of technical ideas and wrong substitutions. During the FIFA World Cup last year, Nigeria was eliminated from the group stage in the last minute by Argentina and the whole blame was put on Gernot Rohr for wrong start up and substitutions
Not only that, even at the 2019 AFCON, Rohr was also heavily criticized for making wrong substitution which got us eliminated by Algeria.

Now Coach Rohr is working really hard towards building a very solid team. For the first time we will see a Super Eagles coach selecting players based on merit not by political afflictions
His performance against Brazil Friendly game on Sunday was impressive. If not for the lapses, we could have won Brazil yet some people still find a way to blame Rohr for not winning the match
