I'm neither a City or Liverpool fan but I just can't deny the fact that yesterday's match actually made my night. Succinctly put, it gave me some kind of joy.
I went to the viewing centre yesterday night to watch one of the most anticipated Premier League matches this season but when I got to my normal viewing centre they seemed to be having problem with their generator, so I had to go to another viewing centre. (It's not far though)
I got there with my friends and we took our seats, we then ordered for bottles of chilled beer and plates of pepper soup just to catch the groove of the match😁. (that's how my friend and I normally do) Although, I didn't take the picture but I decided to use the picture below for illustration. 😁
The whole place was very lively and bubbling because there were more of people supporting Manchester City. Funny enough, I noticed most of the people making noise and supporting Manchester City were not City fans, they were actually those people who staked their bet Manchester City hoping to make some bucks, and perhaps those who are enemies of Liverpool. They don't just like the idea of Liverpool winning the title this season 😁
Like I said earlier than i'm not a City fan but I wished City would thrash Liverpool and I'm happy it happened that way. Maybe that was the reason why I even placed my bet on City. I didn't use the Scorumbet yesterday and had to use my local bookie
I got home yesterday night feeling very happy as if I won a gold medal.. I was not only happy I won my bet but because the atmosphere I watch the match was very lively. It's been a long time I enjoyed a match like that
Honestly, it's been a long time I've been this happy for the victory of a team who isn't my own team but I had that feeling for City yesterday
